........................We are HOME

We are home. Thank God for many things....a successful surgery (to this point so far), a fairly short hospital stay, great friends & family, a safe drive home, and for allowing us to be all home together again.

When we got home Rob ran out and picked up Marissa at dance, she was surprised because we didn't tell her we where on our way home. Zachary did very well on the trip home no complaints until we got to the Syracuse area on the Thruway.

Once we got home our house was decorated with Balloons everywhere for Zachary from our friend Debbie. He enjoyed seeing them all. He got to lay on the floor and play with his trucks. It was rough at first because he wanted to do so much and we wanted to do so much to catch up on things, but we all settled in and he at his dinner.

I will post more on Wednesday, but just wanted to let you all know for now we are home.

Thanks again for all the prayers, and get well wishes.

Zachary is saying good bye to his favorite nurses on 10 Northwest at Children's Hospital Boston. This is Zachary & Rob. Rob was actually the aide, but Zachary instisted he was his nurse and the boss on the floor. Rob got a kick out of that.

Here is Zachary & his other favorite nurse Danielle. They had alot of fun together. She would harass him about the Boston Red Sox and he would give it right back. When he didn't want to talk to her anymore he would tell her to get back to work or he was telling her boss, but the funny thing is when he wanted something it was always "Where is Danielle?" Didn't matter what shift it was he wanted Danielle.

Aides do A LOT of work. So how funny is it that he rewarded his friend at such a young age. What compassion and empathy for others. You have a beautiful son Jodi!

Yes, Thank God everything went smoothly. I pray he continues to recover and that mommy and daddy can find time to care for themselves too. ((hugs))

So glad your back. I can't wait to hear more when your able to share.

Praise God for AWESOME medical staff!
