So Proud!!!!!!

We are so proud of our little guy. Saturday was the picnic for his baseball team and unfortunately Zachary was unable to attend because he was going on vacation with his sister and nonnie to see all his cousins that are from all over. Well Zach's coach called and wanted to bring over his trophy so he had it, so Rob told him come on over. Well when coach Mike got here, he had 2 trophy's for Zachary. Zachary got the typical trophy for playing baseball then got MVP for his team. In the picture the trophy on the Right is that special trophy. So here it is his 3 trophys for baseball this year.

This is all 3 trophys. 1st one is from the old timers game (which means kids are ineligible to play in this level next year. Zachary's age is ok for that level next year but Dr's said he can't play due to his condition.) In the first trophy Zachary was honored with the game ball so its sitting inside the baseball glove. 2nd trophy is for playing baseball this year and the 3rd one is the special trophy for MVP. We are so proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is the face plate upclose. Engraved and all just for him. He is going to lov eit when he gets home. We have them sitting on the table so when he comes home he will see them immediately as he walks in the door.

Marissa's Flower Camp

Last week from Tuesday-Friday Marissa did a summer learning camp at BOCES. There where a few topics to choose from and Marissa picked Flower Arranging. Well below are some pictures of the things she made.

This was a bouquet that a flower girl could carry.
I don't know the exact name of this arrangement, but I say its a table arrangement and on the table it sits.
This is a wrist corsage.
Here is a simple arrangement with a bow she did on the first day. Marissa was quite bummed when the week came to a end. Now we know for next year to sign her up again for another course since it was so much fun for her. Now I have a little flower arranger and no reason for my table to be empty anymore. Beautiful work Marissa Elizabeth.

Layouts

I finally got to work on some layouts Friday night at a crop I went to. A couple aren't complete, but will be as soon as I finishing labeling them. I didn't bring the proper cricut cartridge with me to complete them. I was very happy with what I completed and now have a nice start to our Disney Album from April 2007 trip.

The picture didn't turn out the greatest with the flash but this was in Downtown Disney at Legoland. I did this layout on textured paper to look like legos. I made some seaweed and little blue fish faces to go with the picture on bottom right which is of sea life (fish, crab, shark & seaweed)
This is obviously our family meeting Tigger. (Again the bottom Right picture didn't turn out good in this pic due to the flash. Poor Marissa can hardly be seen.)
This was the kids meeting eeyore. I still need to put the title on there but here it is anyway. I think I am going to change the matting on the pictures also, to match the colors I cut eeyore out in instead. I am actually liking only using 1-2 pictures on a layout which was a huge change for me. Hope you all enjoy!!!!!!!!

Zachary in the Paper

Just wanted to let you all know The Citizen did a special article on our Zachary. I will publish the link below incase you want to check it out. The article was very touching and we had many people call us and tell us they didn't realize Zachary has the medical issues he has or that the article made them cry. It made us cry too. With all the friends/family/faith we will be able to get everything figured out and give him the best treatment possible. We are looking into taking him somewhere for another opinion just to make sure. We already had 2 opinions but you can never be to sure. It's not like we are dealing with something as minor as tonsils out, we are talking things that can effect him for life and I want only the best for the little guy. Thanks to everyone that has called and spoke to us even for their first time with out feeling like we thought they where being nosey. (Yes alot of people actually said they had wanted to ask before what was wrong because they can tell something is not right, but didn't want to feel like they where being nosey. They figured since it was in the paper they could ask more and by others asking more it has helped us in many ways.)

So thanks to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Fun Weekend

This past holiday weekend & Marissa's Birthday we went to New Hampshire to watch a friend of ours play baseball. Zachary was beside himself getting to see JP and watch some more baseball. Marissa got to celebrate her bday at the park, we took her shopping and then took her to Olive Garden for dinner. She was excited because she has been asking to go there.

While in NH the kids got to go on the field during practice, check out the dugout, and Zachary got to go in the clubhouse/locker rooms. JP was going to take us all through there but I didn't think it was a great idea with Marissa just turning 12 and not knowing how the guys where dressed I didn't think it was a great idea. Well good thing because Zachary comes out and says "Sissy there where naked boys in there" It was the funniest thing to hear him say that. The things kids come up with and with Zachary you never know whats going to come out of him.

Zachary and Brett Cecil. He didn't pitch Friday night so he was sitting behind us and Zach kept him company.
Marissa (on her bday) with JP Arencebia before the game
Zachary with JP & Brett on Saturday night before the game.
View of the field from out hotel room
View of the hotel from our seats in the park. If you look at the middle glass section and the middle row on the right there is a light in the window that was our room.
Getting some tips from the Manager & JP
JP, Zachary, Rob, & Marissa being a stinker
Watching the game (Zachary, Marissa, Rob and behind Rob is Brett Cecil)

Happy 4th

Just wishing everyone a happy 4th of July and a safe weekend if anyone else is traveling like us. We are heading out to New Hampshire first this Friday morning. We will be celebrating Marissa's 12th bday in NH and catching more fireworks after the baseball game.

Tonite there are fireworks at the Lake and we are going with Zachary, while Marissa goes to her friends to watch them. After will be a task getting back to her friends to pick her up. Oh well it will get done and we will go on.

I will be back to post some pics on Monday of our trip. Until then every please stay healthy and safe. SPeaking of healthy we are all feeling better after that stomach bug went through my whole house. Boy I hate being sick because I still feel that need to do all my normally chores and tasks around the house even though the DH says he will do it. I figure its my job and I will get it done.
